The Tasting Room at the Brander Vineyard is open for tasting and sales seven days a week. Tours can be arranged for small groups by appointment and guests are welcome to enjoy the picnic grounds. The Sauvignon Blancs have had more than their 15 minutes of fame in the wine press – beginning with the heralded first gold medal ever awarded to a Santa Barbara County wine in 1978. The new millennium has brought accolades such as Wine Spectator’s Wine of the Week and “Smart Buy”, Wine Enthusiast Editors Choice, scores in the 90’s from many prestigious wine critics, and even a “best value” from the renowned New York Times.
