As winemakers throughout Santa Barbara
County taste through each barrel in their cellar during
this time of year, special “small lot”
releases begin to be planned. You are invited to join
in the excitement of this winemaking ritual. Over
twenty Santa Barbara County winemakers will join together
Santa Barbara en Primeur: Barrel Tasting &
Futures, an event to introduce these small gems
to the public. Each participating winery will pour
their barrel samples and/or pre-release wines, accompanied
by culinary delights from some of the region’s
finest restaurants. You will be able to place orders
for these small lot wines for future delivery. Attendance
will be limited so as to provide the best possible
tasting experience, and to allow for a one-on-one
interaction with winemakers and guests.
